The Open-E JovianDSS software is seamlessly integrated into the OpenStor JovianDSS system, a high-availability (HA) Metro Cluster solution designed to deliver high performance and reliability. This advanced system consists of two OpenStor Storage Servers, connected via a high-speed LAN interface with 40GbE connectivity and low latency, ensuring flawless data synchronization.
Thanks to the Advance HA Metro Cluster service, both storage units operate in synchronous mirroring mode. Every write operation performed on one storage unit is instantly replicated on the other, ensuring operational continuity and data protection. Each unit features a Virtual Storage Appliance (VSA), maximizing the potential of Open-E JovianDSS, the leading software for ZFS-based storage management.
