The Metro Cluster hyperconvergence (HA) system consists of two OpenStor Storage Servers interconnected with a high-speed, low-latency 100GbE LAN card.

Thanks to the Advance HA METRO CLUSTER service, both storage units work in synchronous mirroring. Every write action performed on the first storage occurs simultaneously on the second, and vice versa. A VSA (Virtual Appliance Storage) is installed on each unit.
